JBL has introduced a new portable Bluetooth speaker called the Grip. Designed to look like a drink can, it’s small, rugged, and affordable at $99. It will be available on JBL’s global website starting September 28. 2025. in six colors: black, white, purple, red, blue, and camo.

The Grip features JBL Pro Sound tuning and 16W of output power. It uses AI Sound Boost to deliver deeper bass without distortion. You can pair two speakers for stereo sound or connect multiple units using Auracast.
Built with an integrated strap hook, it's easy to attach to a backpack or bike. The speaker has an IP68 rating, meaning it’s waterproof up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and protected against dust and drops.
Battery life lasts up to 12 hours, with an extra 2 hours available using Playtime Boost. A new side LED light syncs to your music and can be customized through the JBL Portable app. It’s bright enough to be used as a reading light in the dark.
