Weighing just 11.5 grams, the ARC 5 uses soft medical-grade silicone for the ear hooks. The design is lightweight and comfortable, even for people who wear glasses. The earbuds are IPX7 waterproof, so they can handle rain and sweat.

A 1.6-inch touchscreen on the charging case lets users control settings without using their phone. The case also includes a mirror and a UV light to clean the earbuds, though it isn’t dust or water-resistant.

The earbuds are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon S5 Gen 3 chip and support Bluetooth 5.4. LE Audio, and high-quality codecs like aptX Lossless and LDAC. Battery life reaches up to 12 hours per charge, and 60 hours with the case.

The Cleer ARC 5 uses a large 16.2mm dynamic driver and DBE 4.0 dynamic bass enhancement to improve low-end performance, which is often weak in open-ear designs. The THX spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support help create a theater-like experience.

Cleer’s AI 2.0 system automatically adjusts sound based on the environment, making voices clearer in noisy places and enhancing details when it’s quiet. There’s also a sports version with a Smart Sport mode that changes the EQ based on movement.

In tests, the earbuds showed no lag during video playback or gaming. Sound is clear and balanced, with strong bass and smooth treble. The open-ear design means you stay aware of your surroundings—helpful for runners and cyclists—but not ideal for noisy commutes or complete isolation.
