SAN JOSE, June 10 — Apple Inc. unveiled its most visually striking updates yet during the 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), introducing six new operating systems and a groundbreaking AI tool. The event, led by CEO Tim Cook, highlighted a complete redesign of user interfaces and the launch of a free AI model integrated into core apps.

The updates include iOS 19. macOS 15 (Sequoia), iPadOS 19. watchOS 11. tvOS 18. and visionOS 2. Each system now features fresh colors, smoother interactions, and tools powered by Apple’s new AI model, dubbed “Apple Intelligence.” Users can expect smarter email sorting, automatic replies in messages, and voice-to-text improvements across devices.

Mac users gained control over their iPhones directly from their computers, while iPad owners can now split screens to work with AI assistants side by side. Apple Watch users received a new fitness tracker that predicts activity intensity, and Apple TV viewers will enjoy clearer subtitles and easier device switching.

A standout addition is Apple Intelligence, which runs locally on devices to protect privacy. The AI works seamlessly with apps like Notes and Siri, offering features like summarizing long texts or generating draft responses. For those who want more, Apple partnered with OpenAI to let users access ChatGPT-4.5 through Siri without needing an account. Support for other languages will arrive later this year.

The updates will roll out to devices in the coming months, with no extra cost for the AI features. Apple said the changes reflect its focus on making technology feel “smarter” while keeping it simple to use.
