Get ready for a whole new look on your iPhone. Apple will fully unveil iOS 26 during next week's WWDC keynote, marking the most significant design overhaul since iOS 7 twelve years ago. The update promises a unified experience across iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

"The big thing is consistent controls, icons, buttons... across both iOS and macOS," explains Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. "It’s about adding glassy effects... rejiggering some applications... It’s gonna be a pretty dramatic set of changes." Apple aims to make the iPhone simpler, faster, and easier to learn.
Alongside the visual revamp, Apple Intelligence gets a major upgrade in its second year. Expect smarter Siri, expanded third-party AI options, and AI-powered battery life improvements. Features like Image Playground and Genmoji will spread to more apps.
Several Apple apps get attention:
A new dedicated Games app replaces and expands Game Center.
The Translate app gains live translation capabilities, especially with AirPods.
Health gets a revamp with food logging, videos, and AI coaching, potentially branded Apple Health+.
Messages sees RCS upgrades, including end-to-end encryption.
Other practical tweaks rumored for iOS 26 include:
A charging time estimate right on the Lock Screen.
Easier connection to tricky captive Wi-Fi networks.
Improvements to Stage Manager when using an external display.
Enhanced Accessibility features, like App Store labels and system-wide Reader mode.
Better Background Sounds options and a new bilingual Arabic-English keyboard.
Simpler eSIM transfer to Android devices.
While iOS 26 is the star, surprises are also expected for macOS, iPadOS, and watchOS at WWDC. Which features are you most excited to try?
