Apple is gearing up for a product overhaul in 2027. aiming to reignite fan excitement with a lineup that includes a foldable iPhone, AI-powered smart glasses, and even a desktop robot, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Foldables Take Center Stage
The long-rumored foldable iPhone is set to debut in late 2026 alongside the iPhone 18 series, featuring a crease-free screen and titanium design. Priced to rival Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold, it’s Apple’s boldest phone redesign in years. A 20th-anniversary iPhone—sporting an all-glass body and edge-to-edge display—will follow in 2027.
AI Everywhere
Apple’s smart glasses, targeting a 2027 launch, will pack cameras, speakers, and microphones to deliver “visual intelligence” similar to the iPhone’s features. Future AirPods and Apple Watches may also include built-in cameras for AI-driven interactions. Meanwhile, Siri is getting a major upgrade: rebuilt on a large language model (LLM) and powered by custom AI server chips to mimic human-like conversations, though its rollout is now delayed to iOS 20.
Meet the Robot
In a surprise twist, Apple is developing a tabletop robot with a mechanical arm and a “personality-driven” AI assistant. Paired with a compact HomeKit hub, the device could hit shelves by 2027.
Hybrid Devices on the Horizon
Beyond 2027. Apple is exploring a foldable iPad and a touchscreen Mac hybrid—though these remain early-stage concepts.
If executed, 2027 could mark Apple’s biggest product shakeup since the original iPhone. From bendable screens to home robots, the tech giant is betting big on hardware to redefine everyday tech.
