MediaTek gathered over 60 top suppliers and 200 partners at its annual supplier conference in Taipei, pitching a united front to build AI-ready supply chains. Under the theme “Stronger Together,” the chipmaker spotlighted collaborations to accelerate edge and cloud AI innovations, from smartphones to smart cars.

At the event, MediaTek COO Eddie Ku emphasized the company’s edge in AI computing and connectivity tech, calling suppliers "critical partners" in shaping next-gen devices. “AI is everywhere, and it demands breakthroughs across the supply chain,” Ku said.
Awards like "Best Supplier" and "Green Manufacturing Contributor" recognized partners for technical support, sustainability efforts, and mass-production reliability. Discussions also covered cybersecurity and tech roadmaps, with MediaTek pushing suppliers to align with its AI-driven growth plans.
While no dollar figures were disclosed, the summit signals MediaTek’s push to lock in alliances as rivals like Qualcomm and NVIDIA ramp up AI chip investments. For now, the message is clear: Teamwork makes the AI dream work.
