Razer just dropped the Clio, a wireless speaker that doubles as a headrest for gaming chairs. First teased at CES 2023, the Clio packs two 43mm drivers angled to beam sound directly at your ears, promising "headphone-like immersion without the squeeze."

The pillow-shaped device uses memory foam for comfort and straps onto most high-back gaming chairs. It connects via Bluetooth or Razer’s HyperSpeed tech for low-latency audio, though its 14-hour battery life means frequent USB-C charging. For surround sound, pair it with existing speakers—Clio supports THX Spatial Audio to mimic a 5.1 setup (though Razer calls it "4.0").

At $230, it’s pricier than most wireless speakers. But Razer bets gamers will pay up to ditch headphones during marathon sessions.

The Clio launches May 9, 2025, with preorders now live. No word yet on a matching footrest speaker.
