Apple’s latest AirPods Pro 3 include a notable upgrade with the new U2 chip, which significantly improves tracking capabilities through the Find My network. The chip offers triple the range of the previous U1 technology, making it easier to locate lost earbuds even from longer distances.

The AirPods Pro 3 also introduce a heart rate monitor and double the active noise cancellation compared to the previous model. Battery life has been improved, offering up to 10 hours of use in Transparency Mode—a notable increase from the 6 hours provided by the AirPods Pro 2.

Priced at $249. the earbuds are available for pre-order on Amazon and will begin shipping on September 19. The U2 chip, first introduced in the iPhone 15. is also expected to be included in a new version of AirTag later this year.
