Razer has launched the DeathAdder V4 Pro gaming mouse, slashing its weight by 10% compared to the previous V3 Pro model. The new mouse tips the scales at just 56 grams (black) or 57 grams (white).

While keeping a similar shape, the V4 Pro features a smooth touch surface and larger PTFE feet. Its redesigned weighted, dome-shaped receiver promises over 30% stronger signal strength, with an integrated LED clearly showing the mouse status.

Performance gets a major boost: the mouse supports wired and wireless polling rates up to 8.000Hz using the second-gen Razer HyperSpeed Wireless tech. It packs the Focus Pro 45K optical sensor, reaching 45.000 DPI, 900 IPS, and 85G acceleration.

A key first for Razer is the inclusion of an optical scroll wheel, claimed to last 3.3 times longer than mechanical versions. Fourth-gen optical switches offer a 100-million-click lifespan and a 12% lighter actuation force than their predecessors.

Razer's software lets players adjust settings like dynamic sensitivity and smart tracking. Battery life reaches 150 hours.
