DJI has unveiled the Mavic 4 Pro, a flagship drone featuring a groundbreaking 100-megapixel Hasselblad camera, a rotating 360° gimbal, and advanced low-light obstacle avoidance. Designed for creators and professionals, the drone promises sharper imagery, smarter tracking, and longer flight times.

The Mavic 4 Pro’s camera system includes a 1-inch 100MP main sensor with adjustable f/2.0-f/11 aperture, a 70mm mid-telephoto lens, and a 160mm telephoto lens—both capable of shooting 4K/120fps slow-motion and 6K HDR video. A first-of-its-kind rotating gimbal allows for dramatic angles, including 70° tilts and horizon-defying shots.
DJI’s new “Omni-Directional Smart Tracking” claims to follow subjects even in near darkness, using six low-light fish-eye sensors and dual processors. The system detects obstacles as small as a car 650 feet away and avoids collisions at speeds up to 40 mph, even in environments as dim as 0.1 lux (roughly streetlight brightness).
Flight time jumps to 51 minutes on a single charge, with a top speed of 56 mph. A redesigned foldable remote features a 7-inch rotating screen and one-touch startup. The drone also supports Wi-Fi 6 for rapid file transfers (80MB/s) and includes built-in storage up to 512GB in premium bundles.
Pricing starts at $2.060 for the base model with a screen remote. A “Fly More” kit costs $2.530. while the Creator Bundle—packing extra batteries, props, and storage—sells for $3.300.
The Mavic 4 Pro will begin shipping globally next month. DJI has not yet confirmed whether privacy-related content restrictions, mentioned briefly in its announcement, will affect regional availability.
