Microsoft just dropped two sleek additions to its Copilot+ PC lineup: the 13-inch Surface Laptop and 12-inch Surface Pro. Both devices pack AI muscle, promise up to 23 hours of battery life, and aim to outshine rivals like Apple’s MacBook Air M3.

　The new Surface Laptop, Microsoft’s thinnest yet, weighs less than most notebooks and sports a premium aluminum body in muted blue, purple, and platinum. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus chip with a 45 TOPS neural processor (NPU), making it 50% faster than its predecessor. The 13-inch touchscreen and AI-enhanced camera promise sharp visuals and crisp video calls, even in low light.

　Sustainability gets a nod: the Laptop uses 100% recycled cobalt in its battery, while the Pro’s casing includes 83% recycled materials. Both are designed for easier repairs to cut e-waste.

　The new Surface lineup starts at $999 for the Laptop and $1,099 for the Pro. Business editions with added security features will launch later this year. With Windows 10 support ending in October 2025, Microsoft hopes these AI-packed devices will push users to upgrade.
